technicals. This is a judgment call.
No pressing in the
backcourt at any time regardless of the score. Front court change
of possession forces the team now on defense to drop back to the
half court line to pick up their man. Violations are administered
as a turnover. Defenders must start man-to-man play as their
opponents cross the half court line.
When a group of
players (two or more) remove themselves from the offense (clear
out), no defender will be forced to play defense on them until they
clearly join the offensive play.

Team: On the seventh (7) team foul of each half, the
opposing team will receive a “one and one” foul shot opportunity.
On the tenth (10) team foul the opposing team receives two foul
shots.
Personal:
If a player receives five (5) personal fouls, the player is
considered “fouled out” of the game. If there are no substitutions
available, the player may be allowed to play. However, on all
additional fouls by the fouled out player, the opposing team
receives two foul shots and possession.
Free throw distance: Regulation distance. (15 feet) Shooter and
any other player behind the foul line, may not cross the line until
ball contacts rim.
Girls: Players may enter lane on RELEASE of the ball from the
shooter.

(4) players to avoid a forfeit.

A
coach should NOT receive a Technical Foul. An automatic one game
suspension will be given to a coach receiving a Technical Foul. In
addition, the coach must appear before the CYO board to review the
circumstances that resulted in the Technical foul. The CYO board
will determine if any additional disciplinary action is required at
that time.
